Kids, old people, and teenagers all think that disabled people can do
nothing; that they are just poor and pathetic humans. Actually, it’s totally the
opposite; disabled people can achieve things that a healthy person can never
imagine to be a part of. So, why not have a look at the story of one of these
heroes.
OMAR
OUHSSAINE, a young and amazing boy who struggles to have his own place in a
society where the powerful can only survive. He had a painful past trying to
study in schools where there is no place for people like him. He quit school the
first time for two years when he was in the fourth year in primary school due
to his illness. He said: "That period was the hardest in my
life" -mentally speaking- this is
why he regrets it. Finally he came back to school in 2003 .After three years he got his certificate.
Again, he quit school for the second time because there weren’t any conditions
that could allow him to continue his studies. And guess what? during that
period he spent most of his time reading books until he heard from one of his
friends in 2009 that there was a possibility to continue his studies. In 2011 he
was admitted at Zaid Ouhmad School.
And now he has proved to the whole world that always
tried to put him down that he is really a person who deserves a lot of respect
and who has a lot of dreams to make true. “I’m interested in engineering and I
want also to be a writer among French literature writers “Omar said. Now, no
one can stop him from achieving his objectives especially that he has a
wonderful family that is all the time by his side particularly his mother,
making him feel comfortable and happy. And let us not forget about all his
friends who have never stopped making him laugh. “I’d like to thank them so
much, I’m grateful to have such friends” he said.
“Work hard, do your best, don’t give up” these are
Omar’s words to all disabled and healthy people. He is a hero; no, he is a
superhero who could overcome all the difficulties he had. And now he is much
better than a million (normal) people.
